December 8th: Star Gazing/Nature Sighting

In the Christmas story we read about the star that led the wise men to the baby Jesus and about the star in the American continent that was so bright that the light of day appeared to remain throughout the entire night of his birth. Stars are meaningful and can bring us closer to our Heavenly Father and his precious child Jesus Christ. Also, the world we live on, the diversity of plant and animal life, the rocks, hills, mountains, oceans, forests etc. Take 10-15 minutes to stand or sit outside and look up into the night sky or out over your Neiborhood. Consider the master creator, Jesus Christ, and the workmanship of his hands. He created not only the earth that we walk on and the nature around us that we enjoy but he also created the stars and clouds, the moon and sun. All things that give us light or even those things that obscure the light. He divided the light from the darkness.

Take these minutes to consider Jesus Christ as your creator.
